My name is Laura Geil. Welcome to my website about me, and my blog about things that pertain to me. Hope you find this interesting.

I am 40 years old, a wife and a mother. I love what my life has to offer. The fact is that I am something of an oddity in these days.

I try to follow the teachings of my faith: Wicca. As a wiccan, I try to not let things get to me as much. I try to do no harm to anything or anyone; and I have a big heart so this is the easy part for me. I have made the classification of High Priestess in my faith, and that is something that I am every proud of. No I do not really belong to a coven or any group like that in my faith, neither does my husband whom has made the classification of High Priest.

My daughter is special needs, and needs a stay at home mother; therefore, I have became an author or novels that are mostly science fiction though they do cross over into drama, mystery and romance. It is not something that I start out planning to do, but at times it is where I allow it to go as the novel takes on a life of its own. I am waiting and looking for a literary agent to rediscover me and my novels. I will be using a Pin name from now on my novels as well. It was my daughter and husband's idea. With their support I try out what they advice to me to try.

In the meantime though, I have chosen to be a freelance writer or a Ghostwriter. This is a challenge on its own since it is something that I have never done before, but I like a good challenge.

The passions in my life other than writing are my family, friends and the animals that we currently have. We have 1 salamander named Anubis, 1 cat named Galaxy that is part bob cat, 3 dogs named Gracie, Thor and Bear; then there are our 4 ducks not named until we know gender, 11 hens, not all names for they have not all got their adult coloring yet, 1 rooster that we named Red, 4 goldfish that are not named, and 5 rabbits that we have named but use mostly to breed for meat. Our garden and my flower bed are other passions of mine as I like to do that when I manage to get really stressed out. Making candles and other decorations from scratch is something of a past time for me as well.

Playing the PS3 with my husband is a very huge passion as we enjoy playing online against others.
